Has anyone here tried PC Guard which is a Security Suite provided by Virgin Media for free if you take their Broadband package?

Just going in for Virgin, and wondered if its worth including this free suite.

    :D

No idea. It would never install on my system. Which may tell you all you need to know about it!

No, it really wouldn't tell him all he needs to know about it. Some programs won't install for some but work flawlessly for others. Your input is welcomed, but as has been discussed here, when you share your experience with a program, realize that it doesn't necessarily reflect how the program will work for others. There is much variation between people's systems, and as such programs generally behave differently from person to person. There is nothing wrong with sharing your experience with program, as collectively it can be useful, but don't presume or put forth that all someone needs to know about a program can be based on one person's experience with it. In general, when evaluating a product, one should always try it themselves before making any conclusions about how it will perform. The exceptions are with rogue products that have been verified as such by qualified people (such as here, or if there is a general consensus among members here to that end).
