So what are these files/folders?

Some are obvious, however, don't have a clue about some. PC runs perfect so there are no problems. The first file, RECYCLER, AUTOEXEC.bat, VSNAP.IDX and 98Logo?

VSNAP.IDX appears to be part of Norton Ghost.

For the Windows 98 logo, have you installed a product from Camtech2000? http://camtech2000.net/index.htm
