DDS10 error message to register the product

I just installed a new hard drive in one of my removable tray systems. I went in to create a new partition and when I click on commit, I did an error message that I'm using an evaluation copy and to purchase and register the application.


I am/have registered this product going back to Feb 06.

An update. I downloaded the latest build(2160) when it came out back in March. since it was a build to support Vista, I installed it on my Vista partition. I can load vista and the program works fine.

However, when I boot up into WinXP, it thinks it is a trial version and won't let me do anything.

Do you mean that I can't run it on one machine with multiple OS's installed? Why can't I run it in both environments. I only have one os running on this machine at a time.

Help. Support--Acronis, why can't I run it in both environments?

 

There shouldn't be any problem about running it in multiple OS's on the same computer. Something probably just got messed up.

Did you previously have the trial version installed in XP?

You may need to uninstall DD in XP and clean the registry of Acronis Disk Director entries and then reinstall. Make sure the Acronis Disk Director install folder is deleted too (it should be under Program Files->Acronis folder).

Acronis Support seems not to respond to the Disk Director forum very often, if at all. I would suggest you log into your account and contact support directly.
