Norton AntiVirus 2008

    If I choose to join this test, I will not be able to test NIS 08, the information provided is little useful, I don't find any enchancement yet, maybe I will take this chance. I notice that the differences between NAV and NIS default install is less and less.

    Today norton has sent invite to existing testers for NAV2008 beta, I think he talks about this :D

    If he really is talking about Norton 2008 I'm very curious to know what changed.

    Sorry, I can't disclose the email, it is forbiden, but I didn't find any enchancement details, just added some not so useful funtion.

    I am not allowed in this beta since i violated disclosure clause of its EULA last year so please do not disclose any information without explicit permission.

    I believe there are several Symantec beta testers here on wilders. And yes we do have to agree not to reveal any information concerning the product we are testing. in this case it is NIS 2008. I think that most software companies require the privacy and non disclosure agreement to be a tester for them.

    ET2 is out, testing with symantec product usually have different feeling, it always can't get enough details, just simple click and go test.

    It looks great and powerfull.
    Security war level is really flying high. May be within few months there will be great dead names.

    I like how they have added the toolbar to firefox too.

    May be bigs too are considering FF as an alternative to IE7.
    BD 10 do not analyze i.e. FF cookeis. Only IE7. And I hope BD 2008 will consider FF too.
    But Symantec is continuing in his growth, w/ great products.

    its to match vista, although this is only a pre-release, we must remember this.

    hope you like the leaks, nobody seemed to want to post them :)
