Prior to installing daemon tools, the option for both my DVD drives were displayed when going through the steps for creating a Rescue Disk. After installing daemon tools the only options left are creating an ISO image or to my floppy drive.

I tried doing a repair of TI with hopes my DVD drives would reappear for creting rescue disks, but alas not so.

I tried to do a search here for any known issues with daemon tools and have not found any.

I have removed daemon tools with hopes this would solve problem, but to no avail.

Anyone know what is going on between these softwares?

    Thank you

Hello Slopoke, it is the latest version I am having troubles with. Have gone to other posing you gave of Duplexing Secure and posted same question as i have posted here. Thank you for your reply. I guess I will just have to wait for a fix.
Does uninstalling daemon tools get rid of the STPD thing?

the latest sptd version that is included in daemon tools 4.0.9.1 is sptd v1.43.
i had the same problems like you with them
slopoke is right. try the sptd 1.45 (install dt like you always do, then update sptd v1.43 to 1.45)-> SPTDinst-v145-x86

    or
    1. remove daemon tools and
    2. remove sptd 1.43 drivers .. easiest way here: download SPTDinst-v145-x86 (or SPTDinst-v143-x86) and choose to uninstall the driver
    3. reboot

both solution should get rid of your problem. (or use dt 4.0.8 with sptd v 1.39) good luck :)
