WSA Beta goes FP crazy!

    Anyone else experiencing an insane number of FPs with 8.0.1.42 Beta today?

    Not here on Win 7 x64 I just did a scan! Maybe do another scan please!

    All clear now over here TH,it must have just been a glitch at their end.

    Had same thing happen to me. All 86 files listed were good ones, so just deselected. KNEW there couldn't have been that many since last night and all good programs. Agree there was a glitch somewhere....

    Same problem here about an hour ago with 8.0.1.42 . WSA quarantined a load of files (including some Avira ones) which promptly caused a BSOD. Very annoying as I ended up restoring an image just to be certain there was no problem.

    I saw a tweet on twitter also with someone saying that Webroot detected Opera and Quickbooks. I wonder what's going on?

    This looks to be fixed now - we had a rule which normally blocks ransomware infections end up being too heuristic, but we've reversed it out now.

    Sorry for the inconvenience - if anyone is having any residual problems, please let me know or write into our support inbox. We're in the process of contacting affected users if we've determined their systems are still having problems.
