    Crowley,

Your references to Mudcrap is wrong. His user name is MudCrab--like his avatar icon.

    Hello Shieber.

Acronis "Media components" 5.4.8 of the user guide.
I was reading this, and thought of what you said, i have not done this yet, but was about to, when i thought of your statement.

All my backups are on an external hard drive, and i also have created a rescue CD.

So i was wondering if i should "write a full standalone verision of acronis TIH"
to the External HD, to use this "One click restore"

I just thought i would get some advice from some experienced user's as to using this feature, and if its worth doing it.......:)

    Hello crowley,

Thank you for using Acronis True Image

The mentioned options such as One click restore and Write a full standalone version of Acronis
True Image Home to the rescue media
are available only if you want to place the archive to CD/DVD disks.

If you store the archives to the external hard drive, you need the standard Acronis Bootable Rescue Media only.

    Thank you.
