Heya Blazey! Congratulations that you have it working!
HTA is stopped already with WG, so no need to do it another time with another product :)
Registry Protection, you can try if it works fine on your system.
Honestly said i am waiting for the AutostartGuard, but till then, why not try RegProt on your system?
If you don't like it it's so easy to close and uninstall if wanted.....
In TDS in the User submitted Scripts of Andreas is a registry monitor too, which script you might like to try.

I have to admit that I run both WormGuard and IEClean; and IEClean stops a lot more than HTA-Stop.
No problems here on my system.

    Hi buddy,

    Most important of all:
Make sure you can go back to your now existing set-up (as I assume that all works fine now!).
I know that you use Go-Back, so make sure that you are able to go back to a good point in case something goes wrong.
Maybe better: use a backup imaging program like TrueImage or Ghost (but I know that you had problems with them in the past).

    Every system is different.
For example: you are using ME and I'm using 98 SE.

    About HTA-Stop:
    It uses parts of IEClean.
I myself are running IEClean: it's definitely and absolutely one of my most used and most loved programs!!! (I never made a secret about that); IEClean is running ALWAYS here (well, except while doing a defrag).
IEClean stops lots more files than HTA-Stop.
So, when IEClean is running fine here on my system together with WormGuard, I absolutely also assume that HTA-Stop would go fine together with WormGuard here.
Even more: I have added ALL the file-extensions which are blocked by IEClean's Windows Scripting Host protection, to the file-extensions of WormGuard. And I have set up Wormguard to alert for such a file when it wants to be run (no automatically block by WormGuard here on my system, only an alert which lets me to decide what to do then).
So in the very rare occasions where I want to lower my security settings of IEClean, my WormGuard will still alert me about those kind of files.
So my advice: go for it !!!

    About DiamondCS Registry Prot:
I myself don't run it anymore: too much problems in the past (sorry DCS !!!).
If I remember me well, those problems were caused by using it together with WindowWasher. But please forgive me: that is so long ago....
    With respect to your set-up:
I certainly would say: go for it !!!
I understand that you had no problem with running RegProt in the past, so try it again. I myself see no possible conflict between WormGuard and RegProt!!!

Let us know how it goes.
    Cheers, Jan.

So start with the RegProt. The version was renewed since our try longer ago.
Does your system restore work fine, btw?
Indeed, make restore points and if possible get rid of the older ones when all runs fine.

big hugs and smoocheys for both you that clears up alot of doubts in my mind and sets my heart at ease

i been haveing problems with my norton go back i only installed that verstion cause it look cool in the norton 2002 system works all in one interface

seems to be a nasty glitch in norton with goback id tell them what it is but there the ones makeing all the money lol

so im uninstall that goback and reinstall go back delux or even the one that came with my gateway.

for all those with the norton goback i feel for you as there is a major glitch that will cause the following error

go back error goback could not revert either your system has crashed or goback was interupted revert or goback has been cancled

no way to fix it short of uninstall reinstall

however this glitch will always reapperar some time later when you do a certin thing on windows me lol

other goback made by roxio i think dosent have this problem just the one that comes with norton system works lol
