So, tell me what you want, what you really really want. I wanna, I wanna ... apps. To wit, you GET this review of winget, a command-line interface for Windows Package Manager, covering setup, basic functionality and options, installation of different software like Steam, VLC and GIMP, overall functionality and user experience, some problems with multiple versions and UAC prompts, and more. Enjoy. https://www.dedoimedo.com/computers/winget-review.html Cheers, Mrk
Does it not bother you that Microsoft makes it software proprietary yet it's ok when they copy cat Linux programs? I never understood what the deal was awhile back why Microsoft was trying to buddy up to Linux
Mrk - a graphical front end is available for the Windows Package Manager. Its called HandyWinget. You can always do it from the Powershell command line.
