For now, I'm stuck on 20H2 unless I manually upgrade.

Windows 8.1 is been and continues to be so entirely phenomenal that 10 is rather boring anymore. The fun part is that with 8.1 there are still everyday more and more discoveries revealed that not only make and keeps it totally secure but on the performance end it's limited only by the hardware. Best of all No Telemetry of any consequence that can't be easily dealt with handily. Trouble is Micro is shoveled the masses into their 10 bucket and that resources and info for 8 have been less than before. Understandably so even though you can find quite a few programs meant for 10 that are even compatible.

That said it looks like when Windows 11 is officially available from Windows Updates the new 10 system will straightway be upgraded to Windows 11 just to say it's up with the current trend. The biggest improvement for this camp is 10's vastly improved WI-FI

No. Looks like they're going to be jerks enough to remove it from 21H2 despite claiming it as a feature earlier. I guess this will keep me using Firefox for the foreseeable future.

We can expect Microsoft to extend support for Windows 10 to 2030 if some reason Windows 12 flops. They extended the life of Windows XP twice because it was phenomenally popular and the new Windows Microsoft brought out at the time wasn't attracting new users.
