Why is trojan.dropper rarely detected?

    Got a small .exe file from a "friend" that tried to be smart.

    Scanned woth nod32 and nothing, same with trend micro antispyware.

    Then i tried with ewido, and it reported it as dropper.delf.se.

    Ok, so i loaded my favourite site for this:

    only 3 reported the file infected:

    BitDefender
    Found Trojan.Dropper.Delf.SQ
    Kaspersky Anti-Virus
    Found Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Delf.se
    VBA32
    Found Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Delf.se

    nod32 i will keep, but did i go wrong getting full version of trend micro spyware scan over ewido?

    seeing as TMAS is an antispyware, its only logical that trojans arent of high priority in its database.
