    Hi :D

I am using Prevx with Chrome and cannot find an ideal place to have the Safe Online icon? If you reduce the window size in chrome the icon goes out of alignment.

So, where do you put your prevx icon?

I notice that on Firefox the icon stays correct during full screen and smaller screen too, why is that?

Ok so it is not a massive problem, I am just curious..............

I think Chrome is a bit problematic because it renders the graphic a bit differently. This is why the SO-tab fails to do as instructed. :D

I have the icon placed just above the address bar. Haven't had any issues yet.

Indeed... it is surprisingly difficult to make the tab behave as required in Chrome, and now in Opera/FF4 because of their translucent windows. Also, with some of the newer versions of Chrome, if you see the tab disappear entirely, you needn't be alarmed - it has fallen behind the browser but is still protecting your browser session :)

That's nice to know as I'm using Chrome as a primary browser. It'll be interesting to see how Prevx 4 will work with its SO (or similar) protection when it comes to displaying it. :)

Its living its own life, much like a teenager. You never know if it will be where you want it to be and when its obviousily not, you still dont know where it is. Its said it will be better when its a grown up - does that mean P4?

Don't fear. Prevx 4 will work fundamentally different as far as I know. The code has been completely re-written. I'm sure the developers considered the problems existing and rewrote the SO-module (if it's even called that in Prevx 4?) as well.

If the code is completely re-written and it also includes an off-line malware database, I just hope that performance remains quick, not slow down like other sofwares. my fear is that if Webroot has anything to do with it then it will be slooooowwwww and I will end up looking for another solution! o_O

    This is my fear, too.

And the beta of Prevx4 is delayed and delayed, no good sign.. :cautious: :doubt:

:p Delayed and delayed? There has been no release date named publicly and we are exactly on time with the date we've planned internally.
