    Hi,

I currently have 1 computer on the network which cannot update, when the option is clicked nothing happens.

I was attempting to uninstall and reinstall the application to solve the issue, but when clicking on uninstall in Add/Remove programs or in the start menu, i get a message saying "There is nothing to uninstall".

I then tried to reinstall a copy over the top and get an error "(116) error occurred while updating the registry! RR".

I have tried installing/uninstalling as the user (admin priveleges), domain administrator and local administrator.

Has anyone come accross this problem and been able to uninstall the program? Is there a manual way to uninstall the program and registry keys?

    Thanks for your help

It sounds as if your registry permissions may be screwed.

Go a google search for reset.cmd and subinacl.msi. Install subinacl.msi then run reset.cmd. This will reset the security permissions for the entire registry and should then allow you to re-install successfully.

Or email me at info at pc hyphen support dot uk dot com
