    Ooops,

yes guys you are right. Acronis 2009 did not have validations/verifications problems and I only imagined it.

Guess what was fixed in their second update of Acronis Home 2009:
And for your information, there are 2 kind of failures in the restore process:
1st. Restore cannot complete because of a corrupted image. (and this is critical)
2nd. Restore completes but the OS cannot boot. (this is not critical because you can still retrieve your documents).

It is rather funny that you attack me when you use Acronis 9. Have you tested 2009 home? o_O
Tell your brother in law to use the verify feature of Paragon. Did he verified the image succesfully and Paragon could not open it or restore it? :cautious:

It is actually quite amusing that most here either do not use ATI home 2009, or use other imaging programs along it, or use previous versions of ATI and maybe ATI Echo. And none says if he uses differential or incrementals.

I almost forgot, some have actually performed 1-2 restores.

I am using ATI 10 home and have used it to restore an image three times because of two HD failures and another when software trashed my system. Prior to that, I have used every prior version of ATI and restored at least two images for each version of the software.

I have never had an issue with the software and I have no plans on upgrading to a new version or using any other imaging software. :thumb:
