Does True Image support Raid drives? I just purchased a new system with two 250 GB Raid drives. Can I image these drives and then, if necessary restore them using True Image?

    Thanks,
    Karl

In general, raid is not a problem. If Windows reads the disks, then TI should be able to back it up. The restore from CD program runs in a version of Linux that TI puts onthe CD. The ability to restore depends on Linux having compatible drivers.

The reason I originally switched to TI from Ghost is that Symantec basically told me no-way when I asked your question about Ghost. These early builds of releases can drive you nuts though.

If you have a spare drive do a backup AND a restore to the spare drive to make sure your can restore. If you leave the originalWin drive in place, it will remain the system drive but you can view the second drive to see if everything is there.

Or, before rebooting after restore, swap out the old and new sys drive to make sure it boots. Then swap back.
