I had tried TI 8 and ran into a number or stability issues. TI 9 when released seemed more unstable. At that time, I purchased Symantec SystemWorks pro, but find that I really need the image backup, incrementals and more importantly selective directory backup with incrementals.

So, I am willing to try TI9 again.

Is it more stable than initially released? I have perused the forum here and haven't found the rants that appeared when TI9 was released.

I have an MSI-K8n Neo5 Platinum motherboard (Nvidia Nforce4 chipset) with an Athlon64 X2 3800 processor and 2GB of memory. I don't have any of the drives in a RAID set, although would like to re-construct one. The boot drive is a WD Raptor and other disks are SATA (on the NVidia controller) with the exception of one legacy IDE drive.

    Comments would be appreciated.

Be careful, I am knee deep in utilities trying to restore my image... If you use TI9 know that you are a part of the beta test team.

    Good Luck...
