SP3?

    Hi,

    I would highly recommend against any "unofficial", "beta", or "preview" SP3 downloads.

    Even if they contain MS files, those "hotfixes" are patches that are not fully tested, and are not meant for the public. They will go through much more testing before any of them have a chance of being included in the official Windows XP SP3.

    As such, if you download and install any of those hotfixes, you have a chance of causing some serious computer trouble, or potentially interfering with the normal Windows Update process in the future (they may confuse Windows Update and you may not get important security patches/updates).

    like javacool said...

    some of those patches are meant for a "specific computer who are having a specific problems and thus are not advisable to install if you are not experiencing that exact same problem...
