Apparantly Eset are adapting the well known syndrome,”Left Hand-Right Hand!”
    Left Hand says
    “Licence Renewal
Existing ESET users benefit from reduced pricing for further years subscription to Threat Signature Updates.

An ESET licence can be extended at any time during the existing licence period. If you renew early the extended period will be added onto the existing licence expiry and therefore you will not lose any cover from your existing licence.

Renewal is valid for up to 30 days after the expiry date of the existing licence, after this period it cannot be renewed and a new licence will need to be purchased from here.

For personal renewal pricing please login using your existing NOD32 Username and Password.

If you have lost your existing details, a copy of your licence can be obtained by clicking here.”

    Right hand says
“Your licence cannot be renewed at this time. It can be renewed from 30 days before the existing expiry date.”

You're refering to the US and UK websites which use a slightly different policy. It's not the same company there can be minor differencies in the policy a distributor applies.

Hi, just to add on--we use distribution channels to sell our products. Distributors are given the ability to set their own price and policies regarding discounts, renewal rates, etc.

For example, in the US you can renew up to 60 days before or after your expiration date, but other distributors may have a different policy.

This is exactly what the OP was referring to - we are told you can renew up to THIRTY (30) days AFTER the license expires. After that point we are told a new license is required. This came out of San Diego in the last couple of weeks.
