I need to download some programs to dvd for a friend's computer. I am considering Avast free and SpywareBlaster. Does anyone know if there is a conflict between these two programs? She'll also probably leave Windows Defender enabled (not sure though) and most likely the Vista firewall enabled. That's unless she finds a nice deal on a suite somewhere.

Also considering SAS free download and maybe a few other things (ie7pro, ccleaner, etc). This is going to need to remain a pretty simple Vista set up.

When i had them i did not have any problems with Avast or Spywareblaster together, but they both have new versions out since then. Also i only had Windows defender on for just a day or two until i got a replacement. You should be fine.
