Question: NOD32 Antivirus

I have a question, I installed the "trial" version of NOD32 Antivirus then later on bought it an activated it, is this like downloading the "full version" from the website or is downloading the "full version" from the website better? It seems like the same thing right?

Also, how do I know if auto updates is set and if it's not automatically set how do I do this?
Is there anything I should do to make NOD32 better?

Our trial version and full version are the same. You will need to enter in your username and password through the Setup area of the product to ensure that you receive our latest updates. This will ensure that you are up to date and fully protected.

Updates are automatic. To make sure of this, click Ctrl + M and click on Tools -> Scheduler.

The default settings for NOD32 do not need to be changed.

What is checked off for auto updates? I am not sure how to tell, I am in those settings. How often does it check for updates?
NOD32 also does not display my expiry date, is this normal? I activated it yesterday.

 

In the Scheduler you will see boxes checked next to Regular automatic update, Automatic update after dial-up connection, Automatic startup file check and Automatic startup file check. These checked boxes ensure that your NOD32 will update on the scheduled basis that is listed under the Launch time category. Typically, this is at startup and then every 60 minutes as long as your PC is connected to the internet.

Your expiration date will show up after about 24 to 48 hours.
