My server just crashed recently causing me to reinstall the system and nod32.

I tried setting up the server back to the same settings as before but somehow my users can't update using http through port 8008 (my http port). I also tried changing the port to default which also fail to update. If I use UNC path, it will be able to update. But UNC is limited to certain amount of connections before it start to disallow anymore connections.

    Can anyone help me?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Abubin,

is this port open in the server side ? Any firewall present which can block it ?
Are you sure you have the same settings than those defined in the clients update section of NOD (IP adress / server name, and port used ?)
Are you able to telnet the server on that port from a client computer ?
And THE question : have you enabled the http mirror in the mirror settings ?

    hth

i found the problem to be my firewall. I don't know why it worked before as I didn't make any changes to the firewall before nor after. Anyway, thanks for the help.
