privacy protection

    One of my norton testing account was closed for I post comments about norton antivirus 2008, although I mention nothing new feature or post any picuture. https://www.wilderssecurity.com/showthread.php?t=175743

    I hope any moderator here no to provide my IP address to symantec guys. You know that everybody is curious, I don't mind symatec close my account, I do mind if wildersecurity helps.

    If the Norton people dropped you (one? of your accounts) from their beta test program, that is an issue between you and them and it has nothing to do with Wilders Security. Neither they nor any other vendor has ever asked for, or been given any private data regarding our members here.

    Check your beta test agreement for whatever rules apply, as well as the specified procedure for inquiring about their actions.

    This post is for the one reveal the simple information about me, not about the thread or forum, of course they need not to ask administrator for detail, they just need someone who can see my ip address and compared the name and address when I register. I will not contact symatec, I just agreed whatever they did.
    I just wondering if everybody act like a police man, abay every rule like a machine, the world can have any fun?

    If everyone didn't follow the rules the world would not be any fun Guaranteed. Rules usually have a very important function.

    As LWM already said in his post - nobody from Wilders gave anyone any information about you. You're barking up the wrong tree here.
