  1. Hello,

I've updated spyware definitions and scanned computer (WinXP, sp2) for spywares. The program found backdoor - "Turkojan"(cathegory 5) and after removal operation prompted that it was succesfully removed. But, on the succeeding scans(just after the previous) this virus was found again, and everything is same.
Still could not solve this problem!

    Thanks, hope for soon answer
    Best Regards

    Thank you.

So, what was the result of the investigation? Is it false positive or ..? I could not find manually on pc any presence of Turkojan, neither did Norton Antivirus.

Can this problem be solved using version 8.0?

I'm sure this is a false postive. Neither Norton or Webroot could find any trace and PE only found one registry key. I'd caution against upgrading from v8 build 748 just now. I tried v9 and gave up and went back to v8 build 748 which is the last good version for me.

I'm also getting Turkojan and Insanor.
PI logs seem clean prior to around Dec 20 2005.
Tried cleanup in both safe and normal mode, it is still there.

I'm still finding Insanor and Turkojan in spite of the Congratulation ...
Is there any solution to remove them for good?

Very grateful for your advise you might give.

    Regards

    Darmaji
