Computer is formatted FAT 32. External backup drive is formatted NTSF. Does the difference in format create any backup problems. It took over 3 hours to do a complete backup of the FAT 32 Drive. However I was unable to create a Secure Zone backup.
What do I need to do to create a Secure Zone backup? I also tried to do a complete backup today but the Icon in check archive only showed the one I did yesterday.

    Help Please

    xp-sp2
    Norton Antivirus
    Microsoft Antispyware

    Hello Don Martin,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please note that the difference in file systems makes no problems in this case.

You can read more information on how to create and use Acronis Secure Zone as well as on how to create full and incremental images and verify them by means of the Check Image tool in Acronis True Image 9.0 User's Guide.

Please also take a look at this FAQ article explaining the reason why we do not recommend to create Acronis Secure Zone on a detachable drives.

Please carefully follow the steps described in Acronis True Image 9.0 User's Guide and let me know if you will face any specific problems. Tell me if you have received any error messages. What exact messages? Find the full version name and build number as it is shown here and let me know them. Describe actions taken before the problem appears step-by-step.

    Thank you.

Thanks for your response Alexey Popov,

I have used TI-8 for some time now and have not had any problems.
I do not want to put Secure Zone on an external drive. I want to put on my main drive "C". However nothing happens when I use Manage Acronis Secure Zone to create a secure zone. I have tried to increase size of secure zone but that made no difference.
All steps as you have suggested have been done numerous times, but still no Secure Zone.

O.K. here we go step by step.
