Maybe some members here should volunteer their services to the CIA? :D

Yes, but those are only so I can get the generator started and switch over to the battery backup ;)

Oil for the wind turbines might also be a better investment...

Well you are a Privacy Expert, not an Energy Expert after all....

Large manure piles also work great as they generate a form of natural gas... ahem.. cough... eh? ...that can be used to power generators. :cautious:
Then we can eat the manure generators... (I like beef :) ) Totally environmental and hacker proof!

I'm a strong supporter of Pilling them up way high (The piles) on the doorsteps of our favorite politicians... (In support of the environment and safety... of course! :D )

I'm sure Mike just meant that you need a little oil to "lubricate" the turbine itself....right, Mike?

    Sure...

Peeps here never seem to miss a beat! "but lubricate" cloudcroft? It almost sounds like a dirty word...

I regret having to make two OT posts in a row, but with today's self-enclosed mechanical systems using Teflon-based lubricants it is VERY unlikely that a wind turbine would require oil.

Great, so now an important thread, about the security of public utilities, is in jeopardy of being closed by the moderators because you two gentlemen decided to be Beavis and Butthead by talking about manure and the various interpretations of the meaning of the word, "lubricate".
