    Hi Tom,

You're okay in UBCD4Win. That's the way it worked for me too. I was surprised it worked that well, as the tray app. wasn't written with UBCD4Win in mind.

Mustang any idea if BartsPE will be supported for windows vista and whether it'll work with the core 2 duo?

    Hi amb7247,

You can use a BartPE disk to boot a Vista machine. TI10 and TIW9 build 3886 plugins will work with Vista. You can also run pebuilder to build the BartPE disk on a Vista machine. XPE will give you a problem if you build on a vista machine. You must use a WinXP source disk to build BartPE. Maybe sometime down the road a Vista friendly pebuilder will be released.

ok now my turn for a dumb question or two. I have your earlier v9 plugin installed and working in Reatogo. So far it works flawlessly. Just breezing over this thread my head hurts. I can do everything I want to do with Acronis TrueImage including mounting, imaging and recovery. Should I really consider updating the older Mustang v9 plugin? In terms of TI fidelity, the older plugin is as good as ever, right? I don't remember your previous plugin being complicated to install. This new and improved seems difficult to install and get working properly or it's my confusion after reading this thread. For instance, using the latest Reatogo (2.40) in which your older v9 plugin works marvelously well, I do not find anything that even resembles a "z_UpperFilters" plugin in the plugin folder.
    Oh... I got a headache. o_O Sorry.

(FYI - I have Acronis True Image 9.0 Build 2337 installed on Windows XP SP2)

I think you'll find the new plugin a piece of cake. Just delete the old plugin folder. Make double sure you don't have a subfolder called z_UpperFilters in the plugin folder. If you do, delete it. Unzip the new plugin and put it in the Reatogo plugin folder. Run the AutoHelp.cmd file.

Most of the problems here are due to people just learning how to use XPE and Reatogo, or installing TI to a non default location.

There are some issues related to the modifications the old plugin made to upper filters in the BartPE registry. But, if you aren't having any problems, you can trust the old plugin.
