My CPU is running Slow????????

    hey guys;

    I have "AMD ATHLON 2100+ 356K 266FSB SOCKET A" cpu. However, it is running at 1500+. It used to run at 2100+, but I don't know what happened.

    What can I do? How can I increase the speed of my CPU? Help!

    Something must of happened in your bios, between the FSB and multiplier (maybe ram problem).

    Download CPU-Z 1.30 and post links to screen shots of CPU, Mainboard, Memory, SPD.

    I'll tell you what to after I see all the info.

    U can first check the settings..u can either reset the cmos battery or reset the bios settings.anyway 2100+ is running at 1.5gigs its normal.. athlong xp's are not really exact on cpu speeds.. a 2200+ operates at 1.7 gigs speeds, and a 2400+ operates at 1.94 gigs speeds.. thats a fact for athlon xp processors.
