Will Restoring a "Clean" Image to a Malware Infected SSD always get rid of all of the Malware?

I read somewhere that there may be problems with "securely" wiping a SSD which makes me wonder if Restoring a "Clean" Image would 100% for sure get rid of all Malware.

    Thanks in Advance.

Actually securely wiping the ssd using the tools provided by the manufacturer is beneficial, since ssd's degrade overtime and wiping it restores the performance

I do have 2 pictures on my HDD somewhere 1 is before wiping and 1 after, benchmark used was ATTO
You can clearly see the difference between the 2
