I've been using NOD32 and my current license was due to expire in July 08. Last week I decided to upgrade to Smart Security and was told via email and then voice that my new license would be extended to July 09. After receiving the new username/PW I noticed the new expiration was 03/09. After 3 emails to ESET, they finally answered and told me the new license was extended to 07/09. The program still reflects the 03/09 expiration 24 hours after the email. Anyone know if I or ESET will need to do anything else to get the date reset in the program? I know it's a year away, but I don't want to wait until then to solve the problem or start receiving the nags 4 months before the actual expiration date. Thanks in advance.
yes I think they will need to take action as that user/password ties to Autoupdates and the number of liscense copies you can run....at least they changed mine when I went from one copy to 3 copies and the subscription date changed as well...... I called the sales line and they corrected/updated my account immediately.
I decided to wait through the weekend and it was updated sometimes during the day today and now reflects the correct expiration date.
