Its very helpful that KAV keeps telling me I may have a keylogger, but gives me no way of knowing which is the offending file!

You're using too much security programs with KAV.
Try to put one by one into trusted applications to see what program it is.

Wait a second. Try rebooting first. Then try to execute the last program that you opened. Do you get those notifications?

Hi there, the new KAV does have one or two glitches and this is one of them.

The file in question is likely to be a hidden file belonging to another security prog. Possibly SSM.

KAV cannot tell you what the file is because it is hidden and KAV cannot recognise it. Because KAV doesn't recognise it you cannot exclude it by placing it in the trusted zone. The only way out is to uncheck the box for Keylogger activity in the PDM and rely on SSM for this protection.

It's a heuristic finding, so you could try reducing heuristics and see if that helps.

Thanks for all the advice. I uninstalled SSM and SandboxIE and the prob has gone. I will try installing sandboxie again perhaps since I have a HIPS in my a2
