jondos live cd

hi guys new to the forum and saw that you had a heading for tails live cd but did not see anything about the jondos live cd.personally i think its better because one you can use open vpn as well as pptp vpn protocals.as well as it obviously includes jondo as well as jondos firefox which is far better and more stable than iceweasel that is used by tails.also jondo comes with truecrypt.so i was just wondering if others in the forum are using jondos and what they think of it.

 

yes it is debian linux based and it is created by the team behind jondos and jondos firefox so you know they are trustworthy.also they come out with regular updates.in fact i suspect they will be updating it again soon because firefox just released firefox 12 and jondos seems to like to keep there products up to date.you can go to the jondos website and check it out.it will fit on a cd.

 

I'd be careful, jondos has worked with law enforcement in the past to track down a user.

 

I was just going to bring that up. From my foggy recollection, Java Anonymous Proxy (JAP) from the early 2k's, was compromised by German LE. German LE is also currently attempting to install malware on laptops at the border:

Isn't JonDo an offshoot, or evolution of JAP?

Hang on. If you're talking about the old JAP incident, "working with law enforcement" is hardly what they did. If anything, it showed the power of open source. They have proven their worth. Research what actually happened before posting something like that. Really, read about it and get back to us.
