Is it ok to disable V-sync on a Laptop/LCD

    Is it ok to disable V-sync on a Laptop/LCD ? I know that they have a refresh rate of 60hz but will happen if I disable V-Sync? good or bad?

    I know nVIDIA recommends disabling V-sync to fix stuttering issues with their current drivers until the next driver release which is supposed to be in June so this is why I want to have an expert answer with regards to V-sync on a laptop/LCD, how does it affect (positively or negatively)

    You mean will there be hardware/physical damage to the panel if you disable Vsync? No, of course there won't be...

    And if there is no stuttering issue on your laptop, then don't bother
