I don't know where to post this because I don't know the problem
    I have windows 7 64 bit
    I use webroot and sandboxie

When I try to boot I can only boot in safe mode. Windows 7 stops before the log in. I get some windows graphics but it does not allow me to log in.

safe mode works and I restore back to the last windows update on 5 10 I can get normal function

I don't know what is the problem.

    please help

the only things I have done is use a new Phillips speech mike device a few days earlier... may be totally unrelated.
when I retore back I get normal function

this makes me think its a driver problem but truly I am lost and need help

    can yoy help?

webroot scan 2 times says I am clean

    ....

I am backing up my data but something is wrong....

    thank you for helping

You mean, until you boot again ?

Did the MIC come with a driver & software ? If so uninstall that driver & ALL it's related software & try to reboot a few times & see what happens.

Your Phillips mike. Could be possible due to their drivers etc.
