    Hi joseb,

Can you describe the exact problem please in detail. What do you try and what do you see when it can't be shutdown?

By the way - I've removed your duplicate posts on this topic, please try to keep the discussion of it in this thread. Thanks.

Dear Administrator, I will do how you says thanks.

My program stays always activated. I totally agree with, I will really likes to have a way ( an option) to set it OFF on a normal way. That can I really not. I do find no one EXIT function on.

My very short report of it:

    17:37 6/06/2003 SpywareGuard 2.1 - spywareguardsetup.exe RegisterSleutels 72+80
    HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\..HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Interface\...HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\TypeLib\

No one possibility to EXIT the program. Here we must to have twoo options to.

Many regards from Belgium and thanks a lot toyou, greetings

    Hi joseb,

You said>> "I will really likes to have a way ( an option) to set it OFF on a normal way...."

Well, SpywareGuard can be disabled and/or shutdown. First, you need to bring up the SpywareGuard User Interface. Right click the SG icon in the Systray to bring up the SpywareGuard window.

Look at the images below. The top part shows the "Options" screen where you can disable the SpywareGuard protections. Hitting Options > then clearing the three protection boxes > then pressing the Save Settings button should disable it. (The Systray icon will change and SG will be gray and an "X" will be through it.)

You can shutdown the processes related to SpywareGuard by using the File menu > Exit option (see image again). That isn't just to close that one screen, it actually shuts all of SG down. Notice the warning message at the bottom of the image - hitting Yes there confirms the shutdown.

At this point SpywareGuard is shutdown. But, if you reboot your system, SpywareGuard will restart because of the shortcut in the Startup folder.

Is this what you were looking for or were there other questions? I don't understand your reference to those keys in regedit above. Yes, SG has various keys in the registry. Were you trying to deinstall SpywareGuard?
