Hi, Please forgive my ignorance. I'm a newbie here. I just bought a 1T seagate Barracuda internal hard drive. I want to replace my 400GB Western digital Hard drive. All I want to do is to transfer all the C drive info to the new hard drive including the OS Vista Ultimate, and discard the old one. How can I do it? Can you guys help? I have Acronis TI 11. I do not want to loose any data either! Do you have a step by step instructions on how to do this? Your help is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.:)

Might check Grover's guides--they cover a multitude of sins including what you want to do.

    ethielr,
Check line 3 of my signature below. Be sure the backup archive that you use is a full disk backup which includes all partitions. Partition restore sequence should be the same sequence as shown by the Windows DiskManagement option.
