I installed DNScrypt but it forces everything to go thru the OpenDNS Server.

The throughput is too slow for me. Just wondering how I can uninstall DNScrypt?

    Sudo apt-get remove dnscrypt-proxy

    or

    sudo apt-get remove dnscrypt

    perhaps?

You can also go to your network settings and change your DNS resolver to something else.

Assuming you're using Apt/aptitude (Debian/Ubuntu) in the first place.

    Fedora/yelowdog:
    yum -remove xyz

    OpenSUSE/YaST.. if I remember right:
    yast -r xyz
