how does this work?

    Hey
    i updated nod32 virus file today..i had 1.1286 and when i updated i got 1.1288 so my question is...did i miss 1.1287 or did i download both 1.1287 and 1.1288o_Othanks for some help

    If you miss an update, the latest update will add all previous definitions.

    No you didn't miss anything. NOD updates incrementally so only the updates you need are downloaded. If you were offline for vacation for example and missed a week or so worth it will only show the final update not each individual one.

    Yes. Updates were probably released very near to eachother so you probbaly missed 1.1287 with update check interval and download both on next check interval.

    Update -> Missed -> Update
    1.1286 -> 1.1287 -> 1.1288

    Now since you can't actually miss updates they always get downloaded together with next update if they are released so close.

    You have to understand how updaters work in order to correctly get this presentation.
