Firefox has strange connections

    Hello,

    I'm using Tor, and privoxy i installed it today, and when i check whats being processed through privoxy I see instances of websites i havent even visited today. what is up with these strange connections firefox is making to mozilla.org and some of my extensions homepages, without my permission. how do i stopped them? :(

    Think is Firefox just checking for available updates, to disable it just go to
    tools, advanced, software update, and than uncheck boxes for periodically
    check for updates to Firefox, and to My Extensions, and Themes, click ok
    close the Firefox options box out and see if that than solves your strange
    connection problem.

    I'll agree with Wake also concerning the Mozilla.org entries as it relates to Firefox updates. The one thing I notice is port 443(HTTPs) which they went to end of last year I believe :doubt:
