    Hi.
I am running ESS and would like to tighten up my browser and other internet using programs. Do ESS and Sandboxie play well together? Anyone had experiences of the both of them?
    Thanks,
    Rollers

    Hi there,

Yes, ESS and Sandboxie do work fine together. I had tested this for a short amount of time. I used Blackspears' settings to tighten ESS up. After that I noticed a small slowdown when opening up my webbrowser via the "Sandboxed Web Browser" icon. Also a slowdown when downloading something e.g. when you click OK to download the file, it just takes a bit longer before the actual download starts. Though I only tested this with Firefox 3. Don't know how it will be with other browsers.

But test it yourself, perhaps it would work out differently for you. I don't think you will be disappointed :)

You're welcome :) And from what I've read(here and on the sandboxie forum), Sandboxie will get better and better:D
