    I just installed Disk Director Suite 10 Demo and now I'm trying to remove it, but Acornis remains in my registry, how do I clean it out of my registry.

    Assuming you don't have any other acronis products installed, then you can just delete the registry entries.

    If you have TI installed, then be aware that uninstalling DD will also unfortunately uninstall SNAPAPI and TI will need to be re-installed after selecting the repair install.

    - Delete \windows\system\snaphlp.vxd
    - Delete \windows\system\snapapi.dll
    - Delete \Windows\System32\autoprnt.exe if it exists
    - Delete \Program Files\Acronis
    - Delete \Program Files\Common Files\Acronis
    - Delete the Desktop icon and Start menu shortcuts
    - Reboot the computer

    Windows 2000/XP/2003

    - Deactivate Acronis OS Selector
    - Delete snapman value from
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318} -> UpperFilters
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{71A27CDD-812A-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F} -> UpperFilters
    - Delete snapman key from HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services
    - Delete the following registry keys:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Acronis
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Acronis
