In the rare event I run out of disc cache, when I'm given a warning that it's almost full, it's almost too late. If I'm right at my desk, I can usually make it in time to reboot if I close everything immediately. But if I wait say fifteen minutes, the delayed write failures start.
The warning should probably come up when the cache is %90 full. As it is, it cannot be sooner than %98.

    Hi RoamMaster,
The warning comes at 95%, but if you are running up against it too frequently, you should consider making use of the autosave feature in the File Manager (interval save rather than at shutdown/log-off) and increase the size of the cache a bit at a time until you arrive at a more comfortable configuration.

If this is not about saving, but you are still running into a too frequently full cache, you may need to increase the percentage of free space used for the cache (Virtual Mode > Settings > Advanced section). The default is 50% of available free space only because it is impossible for us to determine the optimal setting for all users and situations. Some need less, other need more so you may need to take some time at first to determine where the "sweet spot" is in your specific environment.

I rarely run into the problem. I usually remember to reboot every day to clear it out. I'm a bit limited in how much I can allocate since I'm using a 64gb ssd for my OS.

It's not an issue with not being able to save work, the issue is my system grinding to a halt and *then* trying to save what I have open. Saving three or four things can take ten minutes. I have so many misc files I don't think I could ever compile a list.
All of the files are off the ssd. So I can write to them, it's just time consuming with the OS freaking out.

I'd just like a little more warning. And one that I can't miss.
