Acronis Snap Deploy is not recognizing the NIC on the new Dell Latitude E-Series laptops. The NIC is the Intel 825xx Gigabit Platform. Can we get a new ramdisk and kernel uploaded to create new bootable media from?

Also, has anyone else worked on the new E series yet?

If you pay for priority support they will probally send you the correct files. We have the same issue and opened a case with support. They are slow though.

    Thanks for the reply,

We have had a support ticket in since last week and have heard nothing. Please let me know if you hear anything from them. In our experience Acronis is not seeing the ethernet card, or the hard drive. Do you have the same issues?

We are only haveing issues with the ethernet from what I can tell. Still waiting on the support ticket. The acronis websoite seems a little messed up as well. Many links do not work right. I hope the support is at the bottom and will get better.

    Hi,

I have been using ASD3 for a few month now and I am waiting for a Dell delivery of 11 Latitude E-series laptops.

I read this thread and thought I would want to ask the Acronis for support regarding my forthcoming issue. So I started a chat support session this morning and within 30 minutes I got those files from the support assistant :

~~ private file links removed - Acronis would make these directly available if they wanted them posted publicly ~~

Those are ISO files for "master image creator" and "agent".

Unfortunately I still have not received my new Dell laptops so I can't try if the NIC is recognized by ASD3, but if you have this issue just give those files a try ... I hope I am allowed to publish those files here !

I had also a second minor issue with ASD3 (using version 3.0.3183), I got the following software update (3.0.3203) :

~~ private file link removed - Acronis would make this directly available if they wanted it posted publicly ~~

Well, if someone has its issues solved with any of those files, please report here.

    Hope this helps ...

    Cannathon

We have some new files for snap deploy 2. Our snap deploy 3 doesnt work and thats another issue.

The files we have didnt help but we are working with them to find out if its the files or if we did something wrong.

I have found email is a bad way to contact support. The chat is much faster...

Same issue for me. SD3 does not recognize my network interface on a latitude E 6400 (Intel 82567 LM Gigabit network Connection).

Acronis was able to provide us files for snap deploy 2 that solved the issues with deploying to the new dell e6500 laptops. Hopefully they can provide those to others who need them as well..

    FYI
