    Hi there,

I have read the thread under the following link which describes exactly my problem but unfortunately there is no solution posted.
    https://www.wilderssecurity.com/show...&pp=25&highlight=create archive network drive

To avoid confusion I briefly describe my problem:
I am using Acronis True Image Build 937.
I created a task to make a backup on a network drive.
I can access this drive with read and write functions.
If I configure the task to be started manually it works fine.
If I configure it to start automatically and put in the user and password it gives me an error massage (username or password wrong).

A collegue of mine is using an older version 791 and same thing works perfect.

    Is there a solution ?

    Thanks

If this is on a domain environment I have found that you really need to specify the username password like this.

    domain/user
    password

Also when you created the task did you specify user name and password like this? I have an option when I create tasks for TI Corp Workstation to specify a username and password for access to the share. If you have the same box again make sure to use the same way of specifying the username and password.

Make sure that the user scheduled to run the task has enough rights on the share. It might be that when you run it you have the power but the scheduled user doesn't.

    Hope you get it sorted.

    It is a domain environment.
I have specified it like you described.

    domain/user
    password

Else TI would say that the information is wrong immediately.

Same user ist specified for the access to the remote drive and for the run task as.
As the computer is always logged on as this user I know that the rights are sufficient for read/write.
    Nevertheless thanks.

    Hello fishmac,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please create Acronis Report and Windows System Information as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

Send these files to support@acronis.com along with the information about your purchase of Acronis software (order number, serial number, e-mail, where did you purchase the software, etc.) and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.

    Hello vsharma,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please download and run Acronis Report Utility, create a report (usually named 'report.txt') and send it to us in the way described in my previous post. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

Please also note that, as I have already mentioned in my previous post, you can find the description of how to create Acronis Report and Windows System Information in Acronis Help Post.

    Thank you.
