    Well that's good - cause I'm heading to Laredo this week afterall and I would prefer that the streets were clean - heck they sure haven't been in the last 12 years or so that I can recall. Anyway get your broom workin' :D

    The Cowboy's Lament
    (The Sweep of Laredo)

    As I walked out in the streets of Laredo,
    As I walked out in Laredo one noon,
    I spied a young cowboy all wrapped in white diaper,
    All wrapped in white diaper and carrying a broom.

    "I see by your outfit that you are a cowboy."
    These words he did say as I carefully step by,
    "Come sit down beside me and hear my sad story:
    I dumped in my drawers and it smells like I've died.

    "It was once in the saddle and twice on the run,
    It was once in the saddle I got a sore bum;
    Next to the outhouse and then to the cat box;
    Got snot on my chest; I am cleaning today.

    "Get six jolly cowboys to carry my diaper;
    Get six pretty maidens to carry the pail;
    Put bunches of roses all over my diaper,
    Roses to deaden the smell as it sails.

    "Oh beat my bum slowly with powder and chap stick,
    Hold your nose so tightly as you sing out this song.
    Take my diaper to the valley and lay the sod o'er it,
    For I'm a young cowboy and I know I've done wrong.

    "Go fetch me a wet nap, the colder the better,
    To cool my parched hiney ," the cowboy then said;
    Before I returned, a gas bubble had left him
    And there on the floor--the dog just played dead.

    We moved the dog slowly and held his tail lowly,
    Then suddenly noticed the smile on his face;
    He shared baked beans with Buckles and with a Chuckle.
    One more can of that stuff would have blown up the place.

    *puppy* :D :p

    Yup Primshod,

    That there is the tune I wuz a..referrin to! It's on the flip side of "Who wears short shorts" by Gengis McKahn an The Mongolian Hotpots. I keep the record, square cornered, safe in my footlocker. It's almost impossible to replace 45's nowadays. Everything is now either .44 or 9mm!
