    hi

i have used the nirsoft AppAudioConfig.exe application , and i have found out that i have lots lots of aplication settings ,I removed many of them uninstalling and many volume mixer registry settings are related to lots program I run under sandboxie

AppAudioConfig can 't let me delete them ,but it can open the registry and the key are like this
    Code:
    Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\LowRegistry\Audio\PolicyConfig\PropertyStore\eae40978_0
can I remove them using the windows registry editor easly ?

and can i reset all the w10/7 application/program volume mixer settings?

ccleaner or bleachbit haven't such option to clean audio junkies registrys
    thanks

That tree is valid for win7/8/10 and reset all level settings without any impact for other settings, you only need to adjust settings for special apps if you like to. from my collection

    Code:
    REGEDIT4

    [-HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\LowRegistry\Audio\PolicyConfig\PropertyStore]

but - there is not much need about this deletion, did it twice for testing purpose and no further. at least it functions as expected. and this is the question for you: did you have trouble with the mixer, and if, which in special? maybe its not caused by mixer instead by software.
Luckily they don't offer this, they are futile pieces of software.

    HI @Brummelchen
no , I haven't any trouble with the mixer
but there are tons of application deleted and run under sandboxies , in short i have lots of junkies registry keys related to application that are no more present on my computer
I guess I have to delete manually or leave them
    thanks Brummelchen

Makes no difference for the mixer - it applies an entry for program. It's a reset key for any program wherever used in windows.

Orphan keys for moved or removed programs - that's why I use SandBoxie for a first-timer here to determine used registry and files. I don't think that windows sandbox can offer this service.
