I created the Boot CD to use with TI9 Eval download. I made a backup of my drive, and saved them to my C drive as 4.3gb files (four different files in all). After I made my backup of my hdd (2x74gb raptors in raid 0), I burned the images to 4 different dvds, and then proceeded to boot to the BOot CD that I made to check them out, and see if it could a restore and whatnot.

Anyways, when I boot to the CD, it says something about not being able to do something with the bios as it is loading the Acronis screen(i will reboot and see what it says again). After booting into the normal screen (not safe mode) I try to do a verify on the files I have, and as soon as I hit next, it just sits there on that screen that says back, next, cancel... anyone else have this happen?

    Thanks for your help!

I could not boot TI8 or TI9 (full) Until I unplugged my HP6200C Scanner USB cable, this F$%#$ng Scanner has been a real pain in the A55!! It has always had issues with hanging up during scans etc.... (tried several HP6200C scanners, it is the firmware of that model type and not a particular scanner. HP sux and I won't do business with those JERKS anymore! ) but aside from that try unplugging USB devices and run boot cd

    Hello Jason,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please make sure that you use the latest build (2302) of the free trial version of Acronis True Image 9.0.

You can find out by going to Help -> About... menu in the main program window.

In case the build number is earlier then 2302, please re-download the free trial version of Acronis True Image 9.0 from our web site and re-install it. It will be build 2302.

Please create new Bootable Rescue CD after installing the update, boot your PC from this CD and see if the problem still persists.

I would also recommend you to try the "acpi=off noapic" workaround as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

If the problem still persists with the latest build (2302) of the free trial version of Acronis True Image 9.0 then please create Acronis Report and Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

If you will not be able to create a sysinfo.txt file for some reasons then please boot from the Acronis True Image 9.0 rescue disc once more and press F11 key when the selection screen appears.

After you get the "Linux Kernel Settings" prompt, please remove the "quiet" word, click on the OK button. As the startup messages stop scrolling please write down the last few lines of the output, or use a digital camera to make shots of the output screen.

Please also collect the following information:

    - What exact error message you receive when booting from Bootable Rescue CD?

    - When exactly you receive that error message?

    - What exact screen of the Check Archive wizard Acronis True Image 9.0 hangs on?

    - Describe actions taken before the problem appears step-by-step.

Submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with the solution.

    Thank you.
