Panda Cloud Free followed by Avast... Haven't had the opportunity to use BitDefender Free for a long period of time thought.
Nope. None is none and that strategy may or may not work on linux. "The lightest" implies IMHO that an AV is wanted and searched for and "none" is simply a contradiction to that. I just guessed you did not mean to say that AV solutions are all equally light or heavy because they are really not. But since this OT remark was allowed I have also one to offer that is also the best hint I can give people: scrap together 10 $ and buy Webroot Secure Anywhere Antivirus during "spring cleaning sale promo". It's really not much money for being 1 year protected and WSA is the lightest AV available right now AFAIK. - Remember again, none AV is none AV, can't ever be the lightest AV. I wouldn't use any free AV anymore since none of those and other free solutions are "lighter" than Webroots product in my experience. And "light" is much more important to ME than "free" could ever be. - But of course you can restrict your search for a light AV to those products that are "free" to the end-user. (Not all are really free though, don't forget crappy toolbars, advertizing etc.). I just had to drop my 2 cent.
