Something is not right whenever I go into my snapshot that has both VS and WSA installed.

With last series of betas, v2.23 etc., the right click menu of the tray icon, after bootup can take minutes to open...I know in post #5684 that @Cutting_Edgetech mentioned he was having a delay problem with opening the menu [gui].

    P.S. Edit for clarity.

Cool, thank you guys for the feedback!

@Tarnak: Yeah, I have noticed that as well, and I have looked at the code, but I could not find anything that I could really speed up. So just for the heck of it, I updated the sqlite dll's, and so far it seems to be working well, but I am not convinced yet that it really was the problem. Basically, when VS opens the Snapshot / Log or Settings window, it has to read from the sqlite database, which can be a little slow since it is reading from hard drive. Anyway, it is probably a good idea to update the sqlite dll's from time to time anyway, so here is the latest version with the new versions of sqlite. Please let me know either way if you see a difference on your end! Thank you!

Over install ~ re-Train ~ waiting for new graphics :isay:

EDIT: added > c:\program files\windows defender\mpcmdrun.exe < to Custom Block Folders. VS balloon notification Blocked continues for mpcmdrun. Is there an setting to disable VS balloon for Custom Block. And to disable VS logging for Custom Block.

Hey TH! Yeah, the installer is a little larger, but once you install VS, the actual program is much smaller than before. It has to do with the new obfuscator I am using and the way everything is now packed into the installer. The installer contains both of the .net 3.5 and 4.5 versions of VS ;). But once it is installed, VoodooShield.exe is only about 1.6 mb, and VoodooShieldService.exe is only .079 mb ;).

Well, there are not a lot of changes in this version, except the new sqlite dll's. I think we are about to release this version to the public, assuming that no one finds any major bugs the next couple of days. I still have a few more things to do, like with the Free version prompts, and the new prompt designs, etc. Thank you!

What is the lag with WSA and Voodoo shield? I'm beta testing both so maybe I can try and reproduce.

Dan, can I update via the GUI... or should I uninstall first, reboot, then fresh install?

I am having problems with my WSA. This is with the new web filter, that was released recently. However, I am in touch with Webroot support, and they are looking into it

Just had a VS popup balloon that blocked HMP beta that I just tried to run... I should have disabled VS firstt, then I wouldn't have had a problem. It froze my system and Dr Watson debugger started. I forcibly terminated VS. Then Windows Explorer restarted, and now I will run the HMP beta and see how it goes.
