" During the installation the program offers to install various free companions - three in all. It also can't initialize itself if you're not online when configuring the program for the first time so it could register your copy on the server. Bear that in mind when you download this piece of software."

    Thanks minacross

Since I am playing with a new computer and will be reformating it again soon, I am trying out a bunch a new stuff again.
I installed V catch and it does give some choices to install , say for instance a
    faster search engine.
What I really don't like about this trial is all the AD-Popups
I also installed blackice and that friewall did not see any outbound attempts.
Since I couldn't bott back up after installing blackice, I had to remove that allready. Getting conflicts on boot from blackice's drivers.
I will give Vcatch a bit of time just to see how it is doing.
I just posted the link incase anyone else might want to play with it for a bit.

Yea it suggested I delete Look an Stop as it said it was 78% possibility of being bad lol And those pop ups and incessant adds wont stop till you buy the paid version

  5. Then run Spybot S@D and see what shows up

Yes I thought it was wierd when I installed Look & Stop and it kicked on saying the code was evil.
The pop ups kill me
Other than the one alert on Look & Stop I have not seen it do anything else yet.
