   This afternoon I told NOD version 2 to upgrade, and it did a download of more than 5 megabytes.
   
   The new version has the password option set, so that I can't get in to change the setup.
   
   Does someone know a way round the problem?

   Did you have the password option enabled in the installed v1 ?.
   
   Anyway, I would recommend uninstalling v2, download a new registered version from v2 using your user name and password, and install. Don't forget to update after doing so.
